CASINO FACT SHEET

CASINO SUMMARY:

Casino Dominicus will debut in December of 2007 as a spectacular high-stakes casino on the beautiful southeast shores of the Dominican Republic, part of the island of Hispaniola.  Nestled between the fishing village of Bayahibe and the tropical mecca of La Romana, Casino Dominicus is surrounded by calm turquoise waters, pure white sand beaches and bountiful verdant gardens.  Nature, at its richest, and an intriguing historical past encircles the area.

The La Romana-Casa de Campo International Airport is just 20km west of Casino Dominicus.  Nearby Bayahibe and La Romana offer splendid hotels, cobblestone streets and pristine beaches. The casino, with its vibrant Caribbean flair, also incorporates the destination’s deep Spanish roots and traditions.  As the only casino with a players club on the island, Casino Dominicus offers a wealth of amenities.  Las Vegas-style gaming and Caribbean liveliness merge to create a modern gaming experience, touting unique entertainment, exotic foods and quality shopping. Open 7 days a week, the casino will operate approximately 12 hours daily.

The casino also presents popular local bands in its chic disco bar where guests can dance all night long while sipping cocktails to a lively ambiance of bachata (Dominican ‘country’ music).

DINING OPTIONS:

The casino offers three restaurants, ranging from fine dining to informal fare.

Vesuvio is an acclaimed restaurant serving classic Italian dishes and fresh seafood such as lobster, mussels, shrimp and red snapper – all flavored with a Caribbean twist.  Squid ink pasta may sound curious, but local diners have discovered that anything out of the kitchen is delicious and tastefully prepared.  The restaurant’s original location has been delighting Dominican palates in Santo Domingo for over half a century.  Attire is evening casual and reservations are required.

For guests desiring lighter, more casual fare, a sports bar shall offer a full menu and drinks in a relaxed and informal setting anytime, day or night, during casino operational hours.

The dining options round out with a contemporary sushi bar in the main shopping center.
SHOPPING:
Just steps away from the casino, expansive shops selling luxury items and small boutiques offering fine apparel and colorful, handmade local crafts, make for a delightful shopping experience.
